Accessibility Statement

Rocky Mountain Metal is committed to a website that works for everyone: our WCAG 2.2 AA target, what we do to get there, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Accessibility Statement Last updated October 7, 2026

Rocky Mountain Structures LLC, doing business as Rocky Mountain Metal (the "Company," "we," or "us") is committed to making rockymountainmetal.com (the "Site") accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone in Colorado should be able to learn about our steel-framed metal buildings and reach us easily.

Plain-Language Summary

  • We want this Site to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or other assistive technology.
  • We aim to meet a widely recognized accessibility standard (WCAG 2.2, Level AA) and to align with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Accessibility is ongoing: we keep improving, and some third-party content may not be fully under our control.
  • Found a barrier? Tell us. Call (719) 285-3640 or email choicebuildingsusa@gmail.com and we'll help and work to fix it.

1. Our Commitment

We view digital accessibility as part of serving our community well. We work to ensure that people of all abilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Site, and we treat accessibility as a continuous effort rather than a one-time project.

2. Conformance Target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to align with the accessibility expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities along four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We are working toward substantial conformance with Level AA. "Substantial conformance" means most of the Site meets the standard, while we recognize that some content may not yet fully conform and that accessibility is an ongoing process.

3. Measures We Take

We take the following measures to support accessibility, and we continue to build on them:

  • Semantic, structured markup: using meaningful HTML structure, headings, and landmarks (including a "skip to main content" link) so assistive technologies can navigate the page.
  • Text alternatives: providing alternative text for meaningful images so screen-reader users get equivalent information.
  • Keyboard operability: designing interactive elements (menus, links, buttons, and forms) to be reachable and usable with a keyboard, not just a mouse.
  • Visible focus indicators: showing a clear, visible outline on the element that currently has keyboard focus.
  • Color contrast: designing text and key interface elements to meet WCAG AA contrast guidance for readability.
  • Reduced-motion support: respecting the operating-system "reduce motion" setting so animations and smooth-scrolling are minimized for people who prefer less movement.
  • Responsive, resizable layout: supporting different screen sizes and text zoom so content reflows and remains readable.
  • Accessibility in our process: considering accessibility as part of design and development and reviewing it as the Site evolves.

4. Known Limitations & Third-Party Content

Despite our efforts, some limitations may exist. We are aware that:

  • Third-party content and tools, such as embedded maps, financing applications, chat or messaging widgets, video players, social media feeds, review widgets, and bot-protection (reCAPTCHA), are provided by outside vendors and may not be fully accessible or fully within our control. We choose vendors with accessibility in mind where we can and will advocate for improvements.
  • Documents, images, or older content may occasionally lack complete accessibility features; we address these as we find them or are notified.
  • New content and features may introduce temporary issues before they are reviewed and corrected.

If you encounter any of these, please let us know (Section 6); your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.

5. Compatibility & Assistive Technology

The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation, on recent operating systems. Using the most up-to-date versions of your browser and assistive technology generally gives the best experience. Some features may not be supported by older or unsupported technology.

6. Feedback & How to Report a Barrier

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this Site. If you have trouble accessing any page, feature, or information, or if you have a suggestion, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you and to provide the information or service you need through an alternative method if necessary:

Our commitment on response: we aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two (2) business days and to work with you toward a resolution. If you need information from the Site right away, call us and we'll provide it directly.

7. Ongoing Effort & Review

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We review the Site's accessibility periodically, at least annually and when we make significant changes, and we work to remediate issues we discover or that are reported to us. We will update this statement as our practices and the Site evolve.

8. Formal Standards & Approval

This statement reflects our good-faith assessment and commitment; it is not a guarantee or a legal representation of full conformance.

This Accessibility Statement applies to rockymountainmetal.com. It does not by itself create rights or obligations beyond those required by applicable law.
