C-01 Who we are

A local dealer who sees it through.

Rocky Mountain Metal plans custom steel-framed metal buildings from Penrose, CO for property owners across Colorado: metal carports, detached and metal garages, workshops, agricultural buildings, RV storage and small warehouses, each engineered for the snow and wind loads where it stands.

We're family-owned and owner-operated. Micah Hostetler has worked in construction since he was 15 and has spent the last 8 years focused on accessory buildings. He plans the building with you and stays your point of contact through the process and after the sale.

We're a dealer for 1st Choice Metal Buildings and Carports. Your building is made in Texas and installed by the manufacturer's crew while we oversee the project. Close to home in the Penrose and Fremont County area we can run the project start to finish; farther out, we supply and oversee the building itself. Permit requirements vary by county, and we'll walk you through what yours requires.

Starting from scratch is fine. Many of our customers begin with a rough idea, like "I need something to store my equipment" or "I want a workshop, but I'm not sure how big." That's all we need. We'll walk you through every decision, explain your options in plain English, and help you work out what fits your property and budget.
